Fit Farmers Leitrim

 – A free, practical, 6-week health programme for farmers is starting in Mohill Family Support Centre on Thursday 11th September, 7–9pm. Sessions include health checks, nutrition, stress support and movement classes.  To register, text or call Laura on 086 3474662. Places are limited.

Men’s hike – Sat Sept 13th 20kms, on greenway, from Dominican abbey (ruin) in Carlingford to Newry (St Catherine’s) via Newry Cathedral (Jubilee Indulgence).  

Healthy Leitrim

Hedge cutting Scheme

This scheme is now open and aims to encourage the cutting of roadside hedges/trees along the Public Road Network. Open to individual applicants, communities and groups. The Grant is €75 per km (with a min of 1km per applicant). An additional Grant of €50 per 10 trees per km has been introduced to encourage the cutting of dangerous overhanging tree canopies/branches along the public road network (This would be a maximum of €125 per km).
