Mohill Historical Society

presents a talk by Paul Connolly author of ” The Landed Estates of Roscommon”, Friday 3rd October in Mohill Family Support Center at 8pm. In this talk he will examine in detail 7 Big Houses in particular, namely: Clonalis House, Mount Talbot House, Castlerea House, Rockingham House, Kilronan Castle, Strokestown Park House and Mote House. He will also briefly look at some of Roscommons other Landed Estates, with an emphasis on those bordering Co. Leitrim. Cost €5. Light refreshments served.
