Remembering John McGahern
An evening to remember the life and work of one of Leitrim’s most celebrated writers will take place in Lough Rynn Castle Estate & Gardens on Monday 30th March at 7.00pm. “Remembering John McGahern” marks the 20th anniversary of the writer’s passing and will feature an evening of storytelling and song celebrating his life, his writing, and his deep connection to the landscapes and communities of Leitrim. The event is organised in conjunction with Lough Rynn Castle and Mohill Historical Society and will take place in the Baronial Hall at Lough Rynn Castle. Following the programme, guests are invited to visit the John McGahern Library at the castle for light refreshments and the opportunity to browse a selection of McGahern’s books. All are welcome

St Manchan’s N.S are having a clothing collection starting Monday 16th March and finishing Tuesday 14th May. Bags of clean shoes, clothes, handbags, curtains and towels can be left at the back of the school during school hours.. Your support is greatly appreciated.
