Feast of All Saints

Next Saturday 1st November is the Feast of all Saints and is a Holy day of obligation. Masses Fri evening at 7.30pm in Mohill, Sat morning at 10am in Mohill and 11.30am in Fenagh

Parish Centre

Full planning permission is now in place for the project and the application for a Fire Safety Certificate has also been lodged at the beginning of October.

 

Following that, work is continuing on the preparation of Tender documents (detailed drawings, specification etc) which will be the basis for seeking tenders for the project from local Building Contractors.

Mohill Community Garden are hosting Pickling  & Fermenting Workshops

Pickling Workshop  Saturday  1st November 10.00 -11.30am 

Learn all about the principles of food preservation & pickling your garden produce. We are going to make an open jar pickle and talk about long term storage.  

Fermenting Workshop Saturday 15th November 10- 11.30am

Learn about the principles of fermenting and Sauerkraut making.

Will take place in St Mary’s Church, Carrick on Shannon on Monday 3rd November at 8.00pm

 

Befriending Visitation Service
Leitrim Calling would like to hear from people who would be willing to get involved as a volunteer on our Befriending Visitation Service – it is a one hour per week commitment visiting an older person in their home for company and  chat.   Full training and support is provided.   For futher details Marion on    087 9585029
